Knowledge graph: time as first-class citizen
Relates to Knowledge graph
In Incremental note-taking (https://thesephist.com/posts/inc/), Linus proposes the introduction of time as a first-class citizen to note-taking systems.
How would that look like in this knowledge graph idea? 🤔
Linus mentions the practice of taking writing things down on a physical notebook as the day goes by.
The physical medium imposes constraints that are removed when moving to the digital realm. https://experiment-0003.vercel.app/t/BB7DGjO2_3
But constraints can be liberating, forcing us to be creative by working within the boundaries.
Anyway, how does the graph of knowledge look like when time (and immutability?) is given a primary role?
Maybe the ideas of Event Sourcing and CQRS can be applied to it, introducing the ability to time travel through the graph and see how it looked like in the past?
Another option, which Linus highlights as the selling point of Ideaflow (https://www.ideaflow.io/), could be a timeline view of the graph, like the Twitter (still not X in my glossary).
